OCTOPUS = BRAIN

The octopus does not only think with its brain - the octopus forms thoughts all the way down through its tentacles. A massive two thirds of its neurons are held in their flexible arms, which is understandable when you consider how big the brain would have to be to control all 8 arms at the same time. This is how they are such a powerful dominant predator of the ocean, they are unlike any other sea creature and ultimately the most feared, even more so than the great white shark. People deeply fear spiders, eight legged crawlies which hide in the comfort of your homes - well imagine that in your under water home but plus the ability to change colour, form, texture, and each tentacle thinking individually. Each 2.5 inch diameter sucker can lift 35 pounds of weight, and if all the suckers were a similar size it could lift 56,000 pounds. Don't piss of an octopus. I find the octopus so fascinating, and they have become one of the main drives for this project along with their habitat... water, movement in water, life in water and how life on land compares to that. I am going to create a video that addresses these contrasting habitats, and also our envolvement with sea creatures, especially the octopus being so intelligent and full of potential.
